Hey folks, selling this old grandfather of a jacket. This was the original jacket Regius used to make the awesome custom jacket for me. I'm not necessarily a vintage jacket collector as I find it stressful wearing vintage jackets for fear of damaging a piece of history. Also I don't really need two of the same jacket so this one will get released into the wilderness.
This jacket has been a source of great pleasure and crippling pain for me. I love the history, fit and feel of the leather but it was a touch wide in the back; likely an unmarked 46/48 for size. I bought it off Ton a while back and decided to have it taken in a bit and also have it relined. It had been at the tailors for close to a year before I got it back; and at a fairly hefty price tag. Within a couple of days the left inner elbow seam ripped open. I took it to a different tailor for the repair and they put a rip in the leather above the left front pocket! They tried to say it was there previously ( like I haven't studied every inch of the jacket repeatedly and clearly would have noticed). The pictures will show my first time, less than optimal attempt at leather repair.
There is some cracking on the right elbow and a bit of hanger cracking on the left shoulder as seen in pics. Otherwise it's a beautiful jacket with great shape and style and newly relined; quite wearable and very comfortable.
Chest 23.5"
Sleeve 24"
Length 25"
STS 20"
Hem 22"
Asking $260 US, delivery included to US and Canada, PayPal F+F
