2008 Best Living Hatmaker Custom Western Hat 7 3/8 Near Mint Condition

What better place pre-Halloween to put a Big Ole' Western hat for sale then on an Art Fawcett fedora site ... boo! This is not a scary piece though, a custom 50% beaver fur tobacco brown tall crown (6 1/2") made back in 1995 by Nate Funmaker when he was apprenticing for Steve King at Bounty Hunter Custom Hatters in Colorado. They had four stores at one time ... around 2000 Nate bought the business and has since relocated to Georgetown, Texas. I sent the hat in a few years back for Nate to clean and stretch; it has rarely been worn and is in fantastic condition. I've sold Montecristi panama hats, VS Customs, several Optimos from Chicago on this site previously. 7 3/8 (23") $200 and we'll see about shipping costs.

That's a beautiful hat! Too big for me though. Those tall crowns are hard to come by outside of the Resistol Stagecoach line.
