1940s Penny's Marathon Slate Blue

This vintage fedora was made in the 1940s and was sold by Penney's under the Marathon Hats label. It has a mid-width ribbon and wide brim binding. There are a couple of nibbles on the right side of the crown. You can see them in the pictures.

Tagged size: 7-1/4
Brim width: 2-5/8" with binding
Head opening: 8” x 6 3/8”

I am between a 7 1/8 and 7 1/4 and this fits me well.

Price: $215 shipped CONUS - OBO
Also willing to trade for 50s or older fedora with 2 3/4" to 3" brim.

What are the measurements of the opening front to back and side to side?
