Dang...I have been searching for a hat like this since Abe Lincoln was in office.....a bit larger than my 7 1/2 normal required size, but what do you think? Some extra padding behind the sweatband make it be a fairly good fit for me? Also how loose is the sweatband? I will have to send you a PM as I sure would love to own this hat!

Daniel. Replied to your PM. The sweat should be resewn by a hatter. It's a VERY choice lid, however. (Raising cash for other purchases or I'd keep it and get it upsized by Optimo.)

Reconditioning:
Just checked with Tiffani at Optimo. A sweat replacement runs $25 but can only be done with a clean/block which runs $50. Anyone else (besides Art) that ya'll would recommend??

Geez, what ever it takes, I have the moolah to pay for this hat....that hat is like the "Frank Sinatra" of warm weather lids....worth trading a kidney for....(well maybe almost a kidney)....lol!
