So, interesting find here. I have this hat, a green felt velour “from Italy,” which is in a nice 50s/60s- style trilby. No maker on the the hat so I did some research and only found that the Traymore Hotel was once the place to be in Atlantic City until that time probably. It’s an interesting idea. Imagine it:
A guy goes to the Hotel Traymore with a gal, big date by the sea, picks up this hat in a gift shop at Harrold's on a whim, wears it, marries, then ends up in some friends or relation house à Goodwill where I pick it up.
