A little extra room should be fine, a good point though. I am a bit between posting the highwayman with alpaca for sale in the fall vs. getting it relined at this point. Aero would certainly do the finest job, but with shipping both ways it comes to $250....almost 1/2 of what I paid for it! It's hard to let go when the measurements fit me however! We all know what a holy grail that can be!
Thurston is busy... Carrie referred me to Greatleather.com. Anybody had experience with them?
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. The difference between alpaca and a thinner liner is measured in millimeters (or fractions of millimeters). I don't think you will notice a big difference at all, if the jacket already fits you well. And if it does, hold onto that, we all know how hard it is sometimes to find a jacket that fits really well.
I could be wrong, but I think JC @ GW pointed me that way as well. Will check my emails.
