For sale a little worn Aero m422a in black Vicenza and Alpaca lined size 40. The mouton and the knits are in dark brown.

This was ordered directly from Aero a year ago and received in August 2017. It’s been worn maybe 10 times since then. It’s a great jacket just doesn’t get enough wear as too many jackets.

Measurements laying it flat are:

- shoulders: 18.5”
- pit to pit: 20”
- sleeve (including knit): 24”
- back excluding collar and including waistband: 24”

Asking £450 PayPal family and friends. Seems to me a decent deal as this costs new £785 (670 + 75 + 40) so more than 40% off retail price.

Free shipping to UK. Rest of Europe add £15. RoW please get in touch and we can discuss a shipping price. Will ship using a fully tracked service.

Would buy this at once, but 20" pit to pit, sweet jesus, that's some tight size 40 :/

what's your height and weight and can we see some fit pictures?

I’m 172cm x 73kg and 39” chest (not the tallest in town and of medium/athletic build). It definitely is not a generous cut but I believe this is common with this specific Aero model. The shoulder gussets and bi-swing back coupled with Vic make the jacket pretty comfortable on me (I can layer a sweater easy).

Here is how it looks on me:

Generally and historically speaking, is the m422 a slimmer cut than the a2? I have an eastman m422a in a 42 and it fits me about the same as my eastman a2 size 40.

Can’t give a definitive answer but the aero version is a slim jacket for sure, especially in the body. ;)

Hi Russell thanks for your interest.

I measured them straight from the shoulder seam down to the end of the wrist knit like Aero suggest on their website. Bear in mind that the shoulder width on this jacket is 18.5” that adds to the sleeve length. I normally find that in other styles a 17/17.5” shoulder is enough for me so depending on that I might need to adjust the sleeve length. I think the two measurements cannot be looked at in isolation.
