Another nifty find for the day

I've been looking for a sport coat with the leather gunpad and elbow pads and found it today. This ones got the big ol' patch pockets too. Big lapels and leather covered buttons. Beats me how old it is , any guesses?
I'll certainly look dapper shooting skeet in this thing.:D

Quite cool. Just don't go horseback riding in it... the shoulder pad will look out of place. :p

Those lower pockets are called saddle bag pockets, by the way.

Good to know. Richman Brothers vintage overcoats before 1960 are some of my favorites that I own---not to mention the hats. Its a shame they went by the wayside. [huh] :(
