I despise you people and your Open-Roads...

Will someone please help this man acquire an OR? I'd sell you mine but I like it too much and you'd probably have to re-bash it.

Wow! I like the warm caramel color of that OR (at least that's how it looks on my monitor ;) ). Very nice indeed! Good job on the referb.

Cheers!

I appreciate your sympathy, DeanGlen. But please, just don't mind me; my Open-Road-lessness is my own doing. I sort of blew all my money on other vintage stuff. :(

Is there any hope for me? Or am I truly beyond help in this matter?

My semi-patented, semi-fallible crystal ball sees an Open Road in your future as soon as your bank account, courage and Ebay opportunities converge!

Sorry, there is no hope until you acquire one, you will be living in dispare.

It will be as if you languish in caves of methane ice a thousand miles deep on one of the moons of Jupiter until you get your own Open Road.

I cried that I had no joy, until I saw a man without an Open Road.

Thanks Dan, till you said it I really didnt think of the color as caramel, but that is really as close to what it is as I can think.
It is not the same color as my Campdraft, it is lighter. This is the perfect 'everymans' fedora, it is beat up enough to wear everyday but still looks nice enough to be 'seen' in.

Also thank you to all for the very kind words, I favor the thin ribbon and do not post many hats with wide ribbons [ I think I have four ] :)

How many of you have the courage to wear your open road in the traditional cattleman's bash? I've lately taken to the traditional brim up all the way around look. It Took a little while to get used to that.

I do... People keep telling me I look like a Texas Ranger. Mine's bash resembles the Bill Jordan link in my "Famous OR Wearers" thread.
