I think this is probably the greatest version I've ever heard of this song! And do dig that sublime saxophone section, as well as Buddy Rich(?) on drums! Not to mention those dancers having an absolute ball...this version of the song crushes the studio version I have. These bands always sounded better live anyway. TCM's been playing this on their 'On Demand" cable lineup.

Beaut. Stuff like this reminds me what a shame it was that big bands never really made it on television...then again, this would have been a perfect nightmare to shoot live.
