Has any one purchased the B-10 from At the Front? Not looking for a comparison between all the makers yada yada yada. Mainly looking for real life pics and construction materials. The only obvious flaw I see is the lining. Although, I would prefer this over itchy alpaca. The shell and collar look good. Any thoughts?

Can't comment on that one, though you might als owant to look into Aero's offering... Not as good or accurate as the ELC, I know, but they had them on the Scotland website marked down to GBP100 recently.... I'm tempted myself at that price (despite preferring the B15 these days).

I have an ATF B-10 I purchased a few months back. Its a medium and I plan on putting on eBay. Its a very nice jacket and a great buy for the money. The construction is top quality. Yes the lining is a bit too full but it looks like it will pad down to a more realistic thinkness. The one point to make is sizing. These things run LARGE. I am an average 44R which is supposed to be a large - way too big. I bought a medium and still a bit large so I washed and dried it. It shrank to the right size and got rid of that new jacket shine. I can recommend this jacket if you are not wanting to spend the extra cash on an ELC or BR. I don't have any pics of me in mine. I need to do that but it won't happen any time soon. Oh, the reason I am selling is I am taking delivery of a MINT original B-15A. I will eventually post some pics of that.

I've got one and I think CBI is dead on with his assessment. I bought a large when I was a size 46 and it still looked big. Now I'm a size 42 and it really looks big. The arms are also larger than I need. The thing is, the price is right and the quality is high. Plus, the thing is WARM and I do mean WARM. It's about as warm as a B3 and has plenty of room if I want to wear a sweater underneath. Also, my wife like the way it looks on me. (can't beat that with a stick.) If you want accuracy, then I would suggest the BR or EL.

Thanks Guys. Not looking for a spot on repop. Just a nice warm cloth flight jacket. I love my CWU-45P. One of the warmest flight jackets ever, but dislike the outer shell, very stiff.

For a cloth jacket, have you considered one of the old Alpha Vintage or Replica series B15s? I recently bought one on eBay - NOS, still in the bag, sealed, all tags - B-15C, Replica series. Probably not as perfect as the Buzz, and I think the mouton is synthetic, but at a tenth of the price of the BR.... I'm well tempted to pick up a second to mothball as they are rare now. Really would like the corresponding L2-A, but not yet seen one in my size. I've never worn a B10 to compare it, but I find the B15C surprisingly warm, given it weighs virtually nothing (used to a B3 and my Aero heavy horsehide leather!). Not sure it's *just* as warm as the B3, but certainly the next best thing.
