Bad CGI Masters of the Air?

Howdy all,

I just started watching Masters of the Air

I’m 3 episodes into it and I find myself being very distracted by the CGI.

I have to say I feel like the CGI is just not up to par. Does anyone else feel the same?

I feel like I’ve seen better CGI in movies over 10 years old.

The bombers seem stiff and rigid, like they are copied and pasted.

And the enemy fighters zoom by at what looks like Mach 3.

There are video games out now that are very difficult to distinguish their cgi from real video. I feel like if ever there were an era where they could really slam a WWII Air Corps show out of the park, it’s now.

Is anyone else a little let down by it too?

Having now seen all nine episodes, yes, I did think there was some occasionally not-so-good CGI. That said, in my younger days when CGI was still being developed and refined it would bother me sometimes if the effects in whatever I was watching weren't "up to snuff". Now I've reached the age where I've seen bad effects in big budget productions and very good effects in productions that weren't supposed to have much of a budget, so I don't let it get to me nearly as much if the visual effects don't meet my expectations.
