Better Quality - Knox vs Mallory

I saw a couple of vintage hats on ebay. One is a Knox and the other is a Mallory. Which of these two were typically the better quality hat?

It depends on the age. I love "Old" Mallory's before Stetson purchased them if you go thru the Mallory Mile you will see how to know the difference.
right now there is one "Old" Mallory on eBay that I would even consider. Mallory was a great brand and produced high quality hats. I have never owned a Knox but they where also a high end hat an the old is always better with them also.
