Klein bicycles had a stock colour named "Plum Crazy" and it was close to this colour. I like it!
I used to dream about owning a Klein…almost 39 years ago. My mountain bike days are behind me.

My wife owns a true Klein. The last model year before it was sold to Trek. I have a Klein but made after the buyout by TrekI used to dream about owning a Klein…almost 39 years ago. My mountain bike days are behind me.

Considering a black cherry Hornskov. My search for an example of a FEPSA black cherry hat led me to this thread, but still no luck. I really did want to see an example or two, but if no one in the lounge has one, that kind of makes it more tempting!
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Here’s what I’m considering. But I would get either the silk grosgrain or vintage grosgrain rather than the “rayon grosgrain” petersham. I am happy with my Hornskovs with the petersham, but one of them has the silk grosgrain, and it’s definitely a step up (not that I need to convince you of that!)It can certainly be a great color. I think it’s easy to get wrong e.g. Winchester’s current incarnation.
I had a Winchester Black cherry, new iteration, and I could not tell it was any different from their black. The only indication was when I steamed it a bit of purpleish dye leaked out.It can certainly be a great color. I think it’s easy to get wrong e.g. Winchester’s current incarnation.
