This is a vintage 1950's Borsalino Alessandria, 7 1/8 Crema color (Tag), Brim is 2 3/4" and Crown is 4 1/2", The Hat is "Like New", mostly stored.
Tags under Sweat Band say: 4405-57415-Crema-7 1/8.
A little Hat History...
The Hat was originally sold in Detroit, Mich. to a Col. A. McDaniel, a Mexican War hero serving with Black Jack Pershing... then a WWI hero... then a WWII Consultant/Advisor...US Army Armor all the way...
The Col purchased the hat in the 1950's, His initials are stamped on the Sweat Band.
The Col wore the hat on Sunday "goin to meetins" only, he Passed in 1985 and the hat has been stored ever since, until I recently acquired it.
I am offering it to the Fedora Members at a Discounted price of $178.00 Shipped in CONUS
A Certain member here has been very, very good to me and I want to reciprocate the Generousity...
If it does not sell here it goes to Ebay at $290.00
