Okay, I don't own a digital camera, so I can't post any pictures yet, but two days ago I bought a Dobbs at a neat little hat store in Flint. The style is "Grayson", the color is identified as "saber", a bluish grey. It has a three toned grosgrain, 1" hatband, fabric sweatband, no lining but a maker patch on the crown underside. I got it for $39 on sale from $49 indicated on a hand written price tag. IT IS WONDERFULLY SOFT. The felt is very smooth. It has a 2 1/2" brim, 5" crown, center dented with a moderate front pinch. The question is, is it wool, which, if it is, is no big deal to me. I know that the price would be the first indicator of a wool hat, then the fabric sweatband, and lack of designation, I would say it is not identified as wool, or fur felt, either, and it is a very thin, supple felt, what I imagine an Artlight is like. I'm presenting this (without photos, ugh!, I know) because I'm wondering if any one else has one, or has seen one. It's a terrific looking hat, and if I can get some shots of it up I will ASAP.
