Break In Brim

i have a borsalino felt hat, and the brim has a crease in it,a deep one might be a break in the brim, whats the best way to fix it?

If it's just a crease and not torn, then steam from a kettle (avoiding getting any on the sweat), reshape (and brush). If it's torn then I'd seek a professional hatter's opinion.

Iron the brim. Steam iron with a thin handkerchief between iron & felt. You can spray brim with distilled water beforehand too.
Usually works out any brim issues I have run into except the torn brim kind....HTH
