I reached out to Johnson Leather to ask about MTO options. The quote came back at $2,500, which honestly made me pause.

Not long after that, a Buco J-24 showed up for sale at $1,000. I didn’t overthink it and decided to go for it.
After wearing the jacket a few times, I can say this was money well spent. The construction, details, and overall fit are all there, and it works well for how I actually move and wear a jacket day to day.
At this point, I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. For me, the J-24 just makes sense.

Thanks! This jacket is a size 38.
My measurements are: shoulder 44 cm, back length 58–59 cm, sleeve length 60–61 cm.

I think I saw you post the same thing in one of the Vietnamese Facebook groups, maybe the leather jacket group or the Red Wing boots one, about your new Truman lol. Sorry if I mixed you up with someone else. Are you based in Vietnam or the US? 1000 for this one is crazy though, I got a new one two years ago for like 2700

Ohhh, you’re not mixed up,that was me ,I posted my jacket and my Truman boots in the RedWing & Greenwing group.
And yeah, I’m in Vietnam.
It was crazy when I saw a seller post a buco J24 for just $1000. I totally messed up,I didn’t even think and bought it in 30 seconds
