Casablanca Comes to Athens, GA!

The Robert Osbourne Film Festival is coming to Athens, GA and along with it are new 35mm prints of Casablanca and The Adventures of Robin Hood! They will be projected at the Classic Center here on a 54 foot screen!

Poor timing

The movie line-up for Athens’ inaugural festival includes The Adventures of Robin Hood, Casablanca, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Hud, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Marlene, Cinema Paradiso, and Triplets of Belleville.

I'll be in Orlando at the PGA show that weekend (Jan 27 -30 2005) otherwise the Lovely Mrs Fuente and I would have made the trip to see a few of the films and visit with some cigar buddies in Athens.
