cheaper levis 501 stf?

Don't want to sound like a tight wad but I just can't make myself pull the trigger on a pair of 50$ jeans I'm not sure will fit right. Anyone know of a place I can get some stf 501's for a more reasonable price? Thanks.

Penneys has the pre-shrunk ones for about 40bucks. You can try them on in the store and pretty well know how they're gonna fit. Not much difference between pre-shrunk and stf after a few months of wearing em (unless you never wash them, but even then not much difference after a half year or so)

You do realize that the 501 is shrink to fit? There are back to school sales Macy's has the 501 at 49 dollars.

Another pair of boots that fit my requirements are by Durango which, at the time I couldn't find for some reason. I had no such problem finding them tonight though.

Ebay. Got my last pair new for $36 shipped. Sizing was 2" longer in the inseam and 1" in the waist. Shrunk in warm water in the tub and fit perfect. Here is some good info. http://www.501xx.info/blog/501_shrink_to_fit/
