Fans of crooner/singer-pianists should look up the name Tony DeSare.

His newest CD on Telec, First Last Kiss, is an amazing mix of standards, originials and newer tunes (a great verison of Prince's Kiss). Tony has played the Oak Room at the Algonquin so he has the class and chops.

I think he may be better than Peter Cincotti, Matt Dusk, and Michael Buble.

Sampled DeSare's CD. Don't think he is be better than Peter Cincotti, Matt Dusk, and Michael Buble. But it's great having new blood singing the standards and he is good. Jamie Cullum also puts a fresh new spin on the standards.
Jane Monheit is my current female fav, and she's a mighty hot chick to boot......quite a looker!!
