Chinese leather jackets

Do you think one of these middlemen (Jim/Dylan, for example) could help me get a slightly customized jacket? I'm looking for a half-belt without the waist adjusters and handwarmer pockets.
Highly doubt it. Too much work and nuisance for their business.

I would suggest reaching out to them. Worst they can do is say no.

Curphey is a Chinese brand to stay away from, right?

This is a Curphey leather jacket which I got for just under 100usd, and I do like it a lot really.

This is a curphey lightweight hh jacket that I got from cor for something like $250 usd.

And for that price I think it’s still worth it, especially if you can make the measurements work and want to try some different styles or colors that you haven’t fully committed to yet and don’t want to spend too much to find out it doesn’t really suit you.

Or even for that style that you love but already know you’ll only get to wear it once or twice a year.

Thanks for the feedback on the Curphey brand. I ordered 2 HH jackets off of Taobao (Superbuy). One is a J-24 (Italian vegetable-tanned ) w/o the mouton collar and another is described as a "Tom Hardy Venom jacket". I've heard the other brands ( Real Simons, Jiashi, etc) are better but these are cheap enough for me to gamble on. I'll post some pics and the final price paid, once I receive them.

Hello from Germany,

After joining the Fedora Lounge and reading this whole thread i ordered this Cowhide Jacket from AliExpress in 3XL. Veluokldly.
Overall great Jacket for the price IMO but too big for me. So ist sent it back via AE Retoure Label. I hope this will work and i will get my money back soon.
I already ordered the same Jacket in 2XL from another AE seller, but the burghundy Horsehide Version, since the Black Cowhide 2XL is already sold out.
I am excided and will Post when it will arrive.

BTW i am 186cm, 79kg.

I think it looks like a good fit as it was. Hopefully the smaller one isn't too tight!

It was too boxy for me especially from the back (see photo). sleeves also a little bitte too long for my taste.

I don't think the sleeves are a dealbreaker, but the back does look rough. Truly not a fan of the ninja turtle look.
