I'm partial to Roxanne as well. The moment that violin rolls in, the drama begins!

(doo, doo doo doo, du du du, doo doo doo doo)

I saw the first Moulin Rouge long ago on Turner Classic Movies before I knew it was Turner Classic Movies.

Ewan singing, OH MY GAWD...! I saw it in the theater, which was awsome during the opening. They had it look like there was an orchestra in the front of the theater, actually playing the opening intoduction music. The effect isn't so good on the small screen. When Ewan opening his mouth to sing those first bars of "The Hills Are Alive" my heart skipped a beat. Another movie I have seen way to many times. I too try to sing "Come What May", but the result is embarrasing...

"Look darling, a froggie."

I saw it in the theatre and had no IDEA what was going on at first, so colorful and frenetic. I liked it by the end and watch it whenever it's on now.

Roxanne...Tango style

I think that version of "Roxanne" is amazing. I love that gentleman's raspy voice.

Paddy keep striving, you'll get there, My Friend! ;)

I loved this song when Sting first produced it (also love his piece, Fields of Barley, which bring a lump to my throat). But this is a great renditon of it and you're right, his voice is great (and raspy!).

Anyway, just found the Roxanne Tango Balled from Moulin Rouge, so without further ado...
