Congress Approves Arlington Cemetery Burials For Female WWII Pilots

I've been keeping my eye on this via social media. There was a big push to get this done and I'm so glad that Congress did the right thing.

Actually, I was surprised to learn that they were not buried there from the get go.

During WWII, if a WASP was killed, the other pilots had to take up a collection to either bury her or ship the body back home. The Army would not pay, and did not recognize them as part of the military.
