On Hiatus. Really. Or Not.
My, oh my, oh my...

... the moderators of The Fedora Lounge may have to take some action to delete this link... although it ONLY shows show cars... there is sex appeal aplenty in the concept cars featured in this article. Don't tell my wife I was hanging out there, okay? ;)

Guys and gals... you MUST check out these cars. This guy Foose is a bona fide genius!

Yeah, now if he'd only make them look like the came off the factory floor, rather than hotrodded out, they'd be even better!lol

I rented a PT Cruiser this past weekend. A couple months ago I rented a Chevrolet HHR. The Chevy made me feel claustrophic. The PT had more head room, but the Chevy had way more storage. Both were good little cars to drive around town, but I don't think I would want to drive 400 to 500 miles in one of them.

I think the ptCruiser looks great- especally in the GT version- the HHR is OK, (but every time I see one I think "cruiser-wanna-be" ;) ) although the HHR is growing on me..... There is a Cruiser and an HHR that I pass by on my way to work & both look "nice & retro." The ptCruiser has quite a following with message boards, aftermarket companies & specail meets. Interesting stuff.

I like the PT Cruisers with the "wood" side panels. I much prefer that to flames, which I've also seen tooling around.

I'm too short to feel claustrophobic in a car. Unfortunately similar to the elderly Buick-gnomes who can be found phantom-piloting enormous vehicles down the center of roads in my neighborhood, headroom is not a problem.

I'm not really into cars but came across this and thought it was kind of cool:

Foose is great. I watch his show called Overhaulin where they basically steal a person's car with help of that person's love one and overhaul the vehicle. While they are doing this, they are calling the person and playing pranks on him all during the week about his or her vehicle being stolen and that they are a detective working on the case. They even show up with parts of the person's car as if it had been stripped and sold for parts. These vehicles are some of the sweetest rides you have ever seen but just needs restoration done to them. Then at the end they show the person their car and it is out of this world. I wish they would do that to my truck. They could prank me all they wanted.
