Not exactly sure what this is, lol.... looks like a Jeep made of airplane belly tanks.
How much do you love this thing:
1954 VW-Porsche Escher Kleinbahn Prototype - vw / porsche engine. These Were Little trains built from 1954 to 1971 and were used in parks and botanical gardens. It pulled three cars which had space for 90 passengers. Its not a accident that the design of the locomotive looks like a cross between the legendary TEE train and the Porsche 356. This locomotive was powered by a VW industrial engine and was the prototype of the VW-Porsche trains.
Oh dear. That's just all kinds of wrong.
We've seen this Texaco doodlebug tanker before, but it's a cool design that bears repeating.
I agree, but I'm that guy who wants to drive it around town for a while to see how good or bad it is/was as a working vehicle.
You are being smart and practical, but that truck is not about those things - it's all about looking darn cute; that's its reason for being and it does that one thing very well .
Oh, I know. I just wish I had an opportunity to drive one, and determining it's practicality would be as good an excuse as any.
I think we've seen it before and it's not really deco, but what the heck, we stretch it in this thread:
It has Deco overtones... which is good enough for me. [emoji6][emoji106]
I'd be a lot more interested in buying a new Buick if I could get that one.
