I think I may have a Halloween mask somewhere that looks just like that.
Okay, so you have to use a little imagination.
But I have seen Gypsies, (see below)

in Los Angeles, New York and parts of Spain and South America wearing fedoras with scarves tied underneath.
Often the fedoras are very small brimmed.
Generally speaking, it's not a bad look.
And for interesting do-rags, try SportKilt.com
