For me it would need to be the v4 street fighter, I've went through monsters,fireblades, couple of triumph speed triples etc..now settled with the tiger gt pro,,but your bike are absolute jewels.

If the big lottery win came in, I would. For now, I can't afford to both stay in London and buy a home where I have the space to keep a bike. Hopefully one day before I'm too decrepit to cope with it. Something small and light. Ideally a 250, but I'd go up to 500 for a Royal Enfield, something like a Classic ******. I'd also very much consider something like a 125 Black Douglas if I ever found one selling as a good used deal (though they're very rare since the company folded).

Gave it up long ago after too many friends, mostly experienced M/C riders, died or were severely injured.

Worst was my friend Luke Walker, known some time ago in M/C restoration circles. He was hit by an oncoming car (adjudicated as her fault) and lost a leg, as well as suffering irreversible brain damage. I cried after meeting him afterwards.

He died a few years later in a fire in his workshop. No telling if it was an accident caused by brain damage or "otherwise".

Life is fleeting, enjoy it while you can, bad things can happen at anytime, ive had some very near misses, but makes me more vigilant.

I'm very lucky to have a good friend who always has at least one very special bike in his garage, so I get to try all sorts of exciting things.

Ducati is his absolute favourite, so I've ridden several of his Panigales over the years. He recently sold his Superleggera and now has a V4 Speciale, but I haven't ridden that.

He's also had an MV F4RR for years, which I absolutely love to ride. It's a shame MV is sort of the lost Italian exotica, because that bike is just wonderful.

I started out on a 2001 Yamaha Virago 525. I was self-taught, but then went through a motorcycle safety course after a few months. I then got a 2005 V-Star 1100 that I rode for about a decade. I'm on my 3rd bike now, a 2007 Yamaha Roadliner 1900. It's all the bike I'd ever need and I love it.

I really want to get a 70's or early 80's bike at some point to convert into a cafe racer.

The best I can do is my Coleman bt200x minibike.
It's fairly big for a minibike and with the upgrades it hits a top speed of 36mph , but it's still just a minibike and isn't even street legal.

I suppose I could technically say I ride and not be lying, but no I don't ride.

These are the two I own right now, 2018 BMW R nine T Urban GS aka the harley slayer, and a 1967 Triumph TR6 aka the bone shaker, I still have the 64 El Camino, just sold the van last week.

What tail tidy is on the UGS? I'm thinking of chopping the rear fender off my Scrambler but adding a rear rack has toned down its ugliness... for now!

After trying everything from 2 strokes, supersports, cafe racers, litre bikes I was on the hunt for something different, torquey not overly combersume at slow speeds, filtering and could fit in inner city parking spots.

Main options considered:

- Harley Fatboy M8, Low Rider S M8 and with SE110. Concluded forward and mid-forward weren't for me yet
- Triumph Scrambler 1200XC and Speed Twin 1200. Concluded not different enough in feel to my old Thuxton. Scrambler 1200 is also VERY tall!
- Z900RS SE in the bumble bee colour. Amazing bike but felt it too "bland" in stock trim and I had just come from a manic inline 4.

Old bike. '15 S1Kr. Full Akra system into the shorty pipe. Dyno tuned with woolich tools. Sold because it was itching me to ride it at illegal speeds all the time View attachment 751701

Current bike. Back to air cooled, first time with single sided swingarm and a driveshaft! '17 R9T Scrambler with Bitubo fork cartridges and rear coilover set up to raise it a little and replace the average stock setup and recently did the db killer and flapper mod as well as adding the unit garage rear rack and side frame. Enjoying this so much more as I started to realise I wanted basic motoring (no electronic aids or rider modes apart from TC, single tacho and speedo, no fuel gauge etc).

Gear wise I have set of pando moto dyneema undershirt and leggings with armour so just wear that under whatever I am wearing for the day. Although these days with no dress code at work its iron heart 21 or 25oz 634 bottoms, tee/polo/chambray/ and leather jacket of choice. Boots are usually red wing beckman chelseas with wedge sole, whites 350CS or Jobmasters

If i’m counting correctly there have been 24 bikes over the last 30 years. Hondas, triumphs, buell, kawasakis, bmws, suzukis, harleys. Also a bunch of knock around scooters

I had a friend make one for me, i bought a tiny led rear light, and my friend fabricated the license plate mount, way better.
