Dobbs Game Bird?

I was at the local flea market today, and saw a nice Dobbs fedora for $25.00. On the sweat band it had Game Bird and the name of a local hat store here in SC. I don't know if it's still in business. According to the man selling the hat it was made in 1955. It appeared to be fur felt, with a very stingy brim. The "ribbon" was also felt. Anyone know anything about this model hat. It was in great condtion. I may go back tomorrow and see if he still has it. I had already spent most of the cash on me by the time I ran across it.

I just did a search for completed auctions on eBay. I found three Dobbs Game Birds. With shipping, prices ranged from $20-$44. So you are certainly looking at a fair price. Even better if you like it!

I'm not sure I like a brim that small, but it is a really nice looking hat in great condition. I'm not going to be able to make it back there today, but if it's still there next weekend I'll probably go ahead and get it.
