DUKW at the bottom of an Italian lake

its in lovely condition but is it classified war grave due to loss of life ? even if bodies were recovered powers that be can be a bit touchy about this .

i am a scuba dive and have dived a number of war wrecks in uk waters and the red sea inc the thistlegorm which was awsome i have also dived in malta grand habour it is amazing to see this stuff and discover the hidden history behind it all i am so lucky to dive on them

Very neat discovey in 900 ft of water! Seems like a simple task to lift a truck...they do it with planes, and they have fragile wings and such...doesn't seem like a DUKW would break in too many pieces....it looks solid enough...

Took a DUKW ride in Boston two years ago...kinda cool...could have done without the tour guide though...by the grace of God, ours did not burst in to flames...
