duty paid in usa on leather jacket shipments

what has everyone experienced in terms of being charged duty when a leather jacket is shipping to you in the usa? curious in particular about buying something from real mccoys if anyone has done this...

You'll pay customs depending on how it's shipped. With RMC, assuming they use DHL from the UK, you are well over the threshold to avoid duty fees. I've had a mixed bag with Aero, paid on maybe 2 out of 4? Can't really recall but it's a sweet feeling when they slip through.

Last I heard, over $800 gets import duty, under and you should be good.
