I find MASH Japan's sizing reference quite correct and a lot more helpful than advice from ELC themselves, especially when you're after a snug fit.

I should be size 40 by the ELC's standard, but according to MASH reference 38 is my size and it indeed is. I'm not sure why ELC does not give out these measurements when requested.
