Ebbets field cap

Here's my Ebbets field 1914 ballcap.The brims on these caps are longer than a true cap of that era, but none the less this is a finely made cap.The wool felt is thick, and under the bill is satin, as is the taping on the inside seams.

The Ebbets caps are a thick wool,well suited for winter.Very well made.I'm waiting for a Cooperstown Ballcap Co.(not to be confused with cooperstown collection) cap to come in to compare quality.The thing I like about Ebbets is they sit nice on your head. The New Era and American Needle caps have a really stiff buckram in their crown and they have a round look to them.They stick up a mile and are very stiff.

There is talk that the cooperstown capshttp://www.ballcap.com/ are the top of the line.Do a search for them.There was one person I saw here that wasn't happy.There's always one. I have the Ebbets Habana Leones one too.That ones newer than the Terrapins hat.They changed the satin under the visor with a darker green and heavier thread.The satin on the underside of the Terrapins hat "frays",the Habana's doesn't.

Everyone here probably thinks I'm nuts . I just want a good quality cap and I think It'll be here in a few weeks.Dammit:rage: lol
The Ebbets a great hats but I need my team,and a leather sweatband.
