Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Just got these beauts delivered, the model is called "Vulture" and is from the Danes at Bright Shoemakers.

First impression is just wow! these boots looks absolutely stunning and the fit is great for me.
Just like my Rålands they really grab my heels for a snug fit, while still being rather easy to get on feet(which for me has been the biggest challenge with engineers).

Need to spend some more time with them before I can say how I like them, but right now I'm over the moon with both the design and the fit of the boot and I really hope it stays like that

What socks do you guys wear with engineer boots. These are my Darn Tough socks, after wearing them about half a dozen times, they are pilling and looks like wont last much long (most around the shaft and ankle area). Although they have a lifetime guarantee, not sure i want to replace with another.

I like Pendleton socks.

Best tall boot socks i’ve owned are Iron heart engineer boot socks.
Perfect thickness. Very durable.

I love how they look! also love to support local makers(being a Swede ) so they have a special place in my collection .

Would love to get my hands on a pair of Clinch in the future so I could compare, but for that I may have to win the lotto or something haha(lucky us we got Jake though ).

I know, I've already tried to change my name with no luck. I wonder if any of the bartenders can help with that actually.

My favorite right now are ny Unsungs and Role Club. My Role Club pair of from 2017 and my Unsungs are from this year. The Unsungs are my best fitting pair of engineers and have basically no heel slip. Plus I like the design a lot and the qc is much better than their initial boots. Easily my favorite since I've gotten them and my enthusiasm has not waned

That’s encouraging to hear. I’ve made payment on a pair of unsung when they release 15 spots last month. They said they should begin work mid feb

Agreed. I'd still put Clinch at first in that department in my opinion, but Unsung's design is right up there, plus the made to measure aspect and the fact that they actually delivered on the benefits of mtm make them my favorite

Oh yeah at that point it's getting quite subjective as they're both excellent designs. That aggressive heel curve is partly why I think the boots fit me so well and lock my heel in to eliminate heel slip. Clinch heel cups aren't quite as aggressive, but they're more aggressive than Role Club for example.

Is it the Maryam make up, those are goegoeus, if I didn’t have a black pair of engineers I would’ve done it.

Im holding out for Clinch to do a overdyed brown engineer, but Unsung custom is even more GRAILED, i’m just procrastinating like a bobo.

I am not a fan of Brian’s business practices so he’s a no go.

That’s the one. I got a black Maryam jacket that my shinki black lofgrens work with but this will be chefs kiss good. unsung appears to be top of their game and improving.
