Thats a real nice jacket and at an everyday wearer price too. Nice to have something priced like this for a change and with more than a few positive comments.

Makes you wonder how they can make a quality product, and be so competitive on pricing? I may order a size 36R in black. They are still on sale, although the extra 30% off ended, now just 25%.

Texas Toye turned out real nice. I'm glad you "deflated" the drawing you took to Anneke; it looks good.

Ha! Anneke was asked to do breast reduction surgery, and looks like it was a success. She did my wife in the WWII period quite well. I added the 6 gun, and gun belt. I thought she needed to be packing heat...

it's a very nice jacket that is great for everyday wear.

We all have different ideas. Excelled offered 2 versions of the jacket. Made in USA used number sizing. Made in Pakistan was S, M, L, etc. Made in Pakistan did not have a single piece back. Made in Pakistan also has a synthetic insulation filling which makes it warmer.

I have both versions. For someone who is not a collector, the Pakistan jacket is fine. It is durable and warm. A good top layer on a windy day. For anyone who just needs a jacket, it could last a lifetime.

The Made in USA version is priced higher. My personal opinion is that it is good. You pay more for US labor. Although in current time, I don't see it for sale. Probably because Excelled no longer has a production contract with the military.

These do run large.

Anyone considering an Excelled A-2, you might downsize by two sizes.

in terms of overall fit, this jacket does not represent what some of the high end brands offer.

I think fit depends on the person. We all have different body shapes. I have a Made in USA size 50, and Pakistan XXL. Barely enough for me to lift my arms and reach for my handlebars. I am lucky to layer a Pendleton shirt under it. But my body is more chest, back, and shoulders.
