I do prefer the original San Mateo but the fit is more difficult for me

Doesn't look bad fully closed but man when that thing is open it makes the wearer look like a butchered piece of meat...

The black version is pretty close to the original in the Tanaka books, the green one is a simplified model

That collar is horrific. Even Snow White seems upset.

I don't like when the lapel is pressed/ ironed down with a folding line, but when it roll open naturally it doesn't look so bad.
I dislike the horizontal waist pockets though, I bet when you sitdown with the jacket zipped that zippered pocket would make a protruding gut paunch on the front of the jacket as you can already see some creases already start forming indicating that on Red devil's zipped photo.
