I think I'm sold on Stetson Sovereigns as my favorites. I've got 2, a brown one and grey one. They're the ones I reach for the most.

I selected the fedora because I wear them more often than any other style. However, I would be hard put to pick a favorite style. Derby, Homburg, Topper I love them all.

As the is the "Fedora Lounge" and I as a member would have to be a hipocrite, or the like,or something, but infact, I like my flat caps better, no offence intended to the host. I find them more practicle, and more durable. May this cast no dispersions apon my bloodline or such.

Yep. Everyone at work compliments it and my family says it's my best hat yet, even over my boaters!

I did grow up in the country so that probably explains why I love flats so much.

Speaking of which, where does a beanie with a propeller fit in?

Oh GAWD, one of our best data analysts had one of those. He just retired on March 31, 2010. He had a slight comb over, wore jeans, shirt with button down collar, a sweater, and sometimes a 8-panel rainbow colored beanie with the propeller. He also had a fireman's helmet with a flashing red light and a siren to go with it. That was for when one of the flight test guys came up with an "emergency" :eusa_doh: as opposed to a REAL EMERGENCY.
