Of course, if we go back to "necessity", we'd all be wearing either a cotton jumpsuit of some Star Trek design, or we'd still be dressing like Fred Flintstone...

I don't think anyone mentioned necessity in that context, but the jump suit sounds like an excellent idea. I just need a year for the work out.

Very cool. Funnily enough, I've often toyed with the idea of a voilersuit for round the house in Summer. While I've seen them sell as women's fashion in recent years, I don't think they have ever been a 'thing' for men, despite Pete Townsend's best efforts.

My fav i own is probably my JD1 from Schott, mostly cause i admire James Dean, i probably should try to get the model he was wearing back then but for now i'll stick with the JD1
The one i would really like to have is the legendary trojan from Schott, again

For dream, but unobtainable or hard to obtain, jackets, the list is a bit long, but a tan Admiral Byrd aviator—with patinas—would do. They are of course vintage because repros are easily accessible, some with a bit of a wait.
