The Field Natural History Museum in Chicago has a plant exhibit where it shows a bunch of models (or frozen real ones)... and next to it, there would be a product made from the plant, whether it be medicine, cigarettes, etc...
They showed a number of straw plants and had panama hats next to them saying that panama hats are made from this type of plant in so and so area. I thought it was pretty cool to see what the plants look like.
