Finding nice Chukkas difficult

Can't seem to find a nice pair with full grain uppers and a flat white crepe sole. Either they're too heavy/industrial (Redwing) or too cheapish (non-welted sole) and/or no flat white sole. The Redwings look like what I want but look a bit too heavy/overbuilt. Can't go the Dr. Marten's.

The Timberland Newmarket model is the right style unfortunately the nubuck leather looks rather "suede like".

I'm surprised it's so hard to find a nice pair, there's a million cheapies out there that are butt ugly.

Does anyone have a recommendation or lead?
Cheers, Ted.

Clarks also do their desert boots in regular leather, not just suede, if you look on the clarks.co.uk website. Ebony vintage is the one I'm rather attracted to right now.
