Finnish Defence Forces' Summer Field Uniform

The Finnish m/32 summer field shirt was later adapted into m/36 summer field shirt. It was meant to be used during the three or four warmer months of the year instead of the general wool field coat. I have collected much documents on many other items but this eludes me; is the cotton material made out of chambray, denim or something else?

I used to have a WW2 Finnish army field cap in this material. Although it was part of the summer uniform, it had a quilted lining.

Did the lining had snap fasteners? The early m/34 and m/36 caps had a detachable lining that was later fixed.

The lining was permanently sewn into the cap.
I wish I hadn't sold it now, it was an interesting cap and very rare here in the UK.

Nice! In grad school I had a good friend who was a major in the Finnish ground forces. I need to re-connect with him and visit Finland one day.
