Fit Pic Evaluation Help - New Half Belt

Afraid I couldn't live with the pockets or belt. A jacket is the sum total of its parts - it's all about balance: a little big is fine if everything else is in place, but the placement of the belt etc are just too out of whack for me.

Love the overall fit. Yes, the pockets and half belt seem a wee bit too high, but I only really noticed it after reading some of the comments. But, only a trained eye will notice such things. I think it really suits you!

Having seen the pictures of the original with the same belt and pocket placement I now think it’s completely right. If that is how it’s meant to be then it’s correct, and it’s only our modern tastes and preconceptions of what a jacket should be which gets in the way of our vision.
