Bit of an older thread, but I'd be interested in your opinion on which of the two leathers fits the jacket better? Has either of the jackets formed a noticeable patina yet?

Both leathers are very hard wearing. Not much patina at all.
I distressed the goat skin to look more worn because it just was not aging at all even though I wear it a lot. The goat skin is also very very squeaky.
I think the Buffalo makes for a nicer jacket in my opinion. I put obenaufs on it and it formed to my body nicely. No squeaking. The grain is very nice too.
