The boot Gods keep taunting me. First Redwing did a restock in the Chelsea muleskinner and now White’s sent me an email about another boot sale….

These are Full American Alligator boots made by artisans in Louisiana.

I never in my life though I would have something this nice.

When i got them earlier this year, i said i dont need any more cowboy boots.

i could wear these every day for the rest of my life.

Anyone here have experience with Indonesian boot maker Jakkrabbits?

https://jakkrabbits.com/product/made-to-order-service/

A few of their models looks quite nice, and they offer Badalassi bone. Feeling tempted to get a pair to match my Thedi jacket in the same leather.

Anyone that has ordered from them and can comment on the construction, stitching, sizing, order experience, wait times, customer service etc?

There you go.

Another stitch popped not long after the fisrt one. Other than that they're holding up well.

There was some kind of foam padding under the insole that I removed because they were getting a bit uncomfortable after wearing them for a while.

Re sizing they send you a video on how to measure your feet. After double checking with them I ended up ordering my usual size.

I'll post some updated pictures when I'm back home.

Yeah I know they're supposed to be workboots but still I was a little annoyed that it happened when they were brand new.
Here are a few pictures.
Hope it helps.

You guys have so many amazing boots. I’m jealous for sure.

I haven’t made a post in while, so I thought I would show you the difference between about a years wear, probably 2-3 times a week rotating between these Rocaro Shell Cordovan service boots, my Whites MP CXL and my Viberg 2030’s horsebutt.

They are Junkard from Indonesia which have some of the more realistic prices for their products in comparison to living cost, for shell cordovan as long as you don’t mind the Italian Rocado but their Shinki Shell and Horween are more than Alden Shell Cordovan. But for me they do not seem as durable but that’s not scientific by any means.

As a personal choice I factor living cost when purchasing handmade products everything from wallets, Watch Straps, woodwork items and obviously Boots, they are starting to raise prices considerably which makes it hard for North American and European small artisans to make a living, which is sad for people who might want to enter this leather making business.

This is my patina from about a year, the pic at the bottom shows them new. I like the color change. They look like bourbon horween now

Thank you so much for these. The boots look very solid. Are you happy with the fit?
