Hello everyone,

I have for sale an absolutely gorgeous 1940's Stetson Flagship. Its a beautiful chocolate milk color with a copper colored ribbon. The brim has that wonderful snap to it and the felt shapes like clay. The felt is extremely smooth and finely finished. The pictures really are the best indicator of the condition. I would say its a 9 out of 10. There's no moth nibbles or bites. The only thing that holds up this hat from being a 10 is the back of the sweatband. Stetson used metal reed ties at the ends of the sweatband reed. Over time many of these metal ties deteriorate and leave a green residue. It can usually be cleaned with a touch of naptha, I just didn't bother because I wanted to let the new owner do it. (see pictures) It doesn't affect the wear-ability or comfort level at all. This hat is really in spectacular condition.

The dimensions are as follows:

Open Crown: 5 1/2 Inches tall

Brim Width: 2 3/4 Inches Wide

Ribbon Width: 1 1/2 Inches Wide

Front Pinch Height (Creased):4 1/2 Inches Tall

Rear Crease Height (Creased):4 1/4 Inches Tall

Highest point of crown (Creased):5 Inches Tall

Circumference: 22 1/4 - 22 1/2 (Size 7 1/8)

THANKS so much, Gentlemen!! I love the combo of the chocolate milk felt color with that gorgeous copper/burnt orange ribbon. The shape-ability of this hat feels VERY much like the Dobbs 40 that I used to have. Its soft and molds like clay.
