Up for sale is a stunning Lewis Leathers Lighnting jacket in a size 44 with nice long sleeves which I estimate is from the early eighties. It´s in a perfect state and looks like it has been hardly worn at all. Lining, leather and the zippers - all is in a mint state with no scratches, tears or odors. The jacket differs from the current design, as it has no ball and chain pullers, a center seam on back and the sleevezippers are located on the back of the sleeve which gives the jacket a more understated look. I can´t speak for the HH Lewis uses now, but the leather on this jacket is tougher and thicker than the soft and spongy cowhide Lewis have used more recently. But it´s still an easy to wear, mid weight leather jacket . Unfortunatly i´s an inch too short for me, otherwise I would never let this one go. For reference: I (see pictures) am 6ft4" , 210 lbs and the jacket is a bit short in the body.
Measurements are:
pit to pit: 23" / 58cm
shoulderwidth: 19,5" / 49cm
armlength along outeredge: 27" / 69cm
back from collarseam: 25" / 63,5cm
opening at the bottom: 21" / 53cm
I´m asking 500 Eus / 450 BP / 580 USD incl. worldwide shipping.
