I would guess many of you have seen this documentary of Eva Kor already, but it deserves a mention. I think it's important to remember that, for most of the world, the 1930s-40s were not a Golden Era. I don't know how a survivor can find the courage to forgive the unfathomable cruelty of waffen ss medical experiments on children or unit 731. She's not saying WWII criminals should go unpunished (although they have) she's just saying that by letting go she finally frees herself of their control.
