Has anyone seen this marvelous overcoat,in the esquire illustrations it was called a paddock coat, but i looks much closer to a frock overcoat, does anyone has a picture of it?any answer is highly appreciated
It's an illustration from a man's imagination. There was no actual garment, so no photos. Also, do not take those old Esquire illustrations seriously: they were an idealized view of top-of-the-heap style and almost nobody actually dressed 100% like that... plus those old illustrations are cartoonized in terms of shape, silhouette, etc. They're lovely, beautiful art, but they're mostly fantasy.
I do actually found someone ask a bespoke tailor to make it for him and i think it was quite nice actually, but i forget to locate where was the web
