From Widebrim: Vintage Jay Lord thin ribbon, small-brimmed, gray, 6 7/8 fedora

c.Early-'60s Jay Lord fedora from Jay Lord Hatter, New York. Medium-gray color, darker gray ribbon, very good condition in and out; one previous owner, has been cleaned and blocked. Brim measures 21/4" and crown 41/2"; ribbon is just a tad over 1/2". Sweat band has a couple of very small stress lines expected for a hat which is about 50 years old (see bottom photos), but nothing serious at all. Has a tiny (what appears to be) imperfection indent (not a hole) under the brim, and one small hole just under (covered by) the ribbon in the back (see last two photos). Overall, though, very good condition.

$50 plus postage.

Six months old?? He'll be a size 7 in no time...I'm still here, Sam, just don't have home Internet service right now, so I have to either go to a library, or park next to a motel. Speaking of Hollywood, I just passed through there today, and I think it's gotten to the point where the Sunset Strip is actually weirder than Tinsel Town. Take care.
