Up for sale we have a beautiful reproduction 1930s/1940s Brown’s beach vest reproduction size 40 by highly esteemed Japanese manufacturer, The Real McCoy’s. Faithful reproduction of the original - the material is a wool/cotton blend - around 73% wool and 27% cotton.
Features the signature nubby, flecked texture. The hand feel is thick, spongy, and almost knit-like, just like the originals.
Boxy 1930s-1940s cut with heavy duty cast metal snap buttons. Reinforced stitching and bound edges match the originals. Heavy duty cinch-back closure.
This model has subtle vertical striping woven into the fabric, echoing some of the rarer vintage examples. Great piece in excellent pre owned condition, no faults to be found. Measurements in pictures. I can wear it nicely over a shirt at 5’6 165 pounds.
